Cam Newton does not have the mental toughness required to be the quarterback of the Cowboys. He had a hard time dealing with losses in Carolina this year after the rookie season lovefest wore off among the media and fans.

Cammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (Deion voice)

I'd take it!
1. Brandon Magee will beat out Ernie Sims for the backup WILL/MO roster spot.

2. Ron Leary will start at right guard over Bernadeau.

3. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams and Gavin Escobar will have more combined TD's than DeMarco Murray, Miles Austin and Jason Witten.

4. Bruce Carter makes the Pro Bowl.

5. The starting OL will be Smith-Livings-Frederick-Leary-Free

Where did you get that Cam was 6'7"? Everything I look at says he is 6'5". Shouldn't you have your stuff right if you are going to call people ignorant?

No? Who then? That dude's completion percentage SUCKS.

At least the Cowboys were playing for the post season last week. Guess that wasn't because of the QB either.

Look at the team in Carolina, it's not all that well coach or is all that talented. He coming to talent in Dallas and a will to win. You rather hear Romo say every week, I know its my fault. I rather have somebody like Cam that just wants to win and it's the perfect situation for him to do it in Dallas.

Have you watched Cam in PCs after a loss? He looks lost and close to breaking down and sobbing. The Dallas media would eat him alive. Everyday. All day.

You'd have to be crazy not to want cam. Its not even a question of if we would take him, the fact is he's not going to be traded no matter what. But he'd be perfect here. The thought of him, Murray, and Dez is just scary.

I agree with you 100%. But I believe Cowboys need to sign or draft a running back that is durable.

First off, Romo being here or not being here had no relevance to my comment. Second, I am not a Cam Newton fan at all. I said all last year that he would drop off his second season and he did. The only way he can win games is if he doesn't have to worry about interceptions. There are a lot of quarterbacks in the NFL who would put up awesome stats minus the interception total if they had nothing to lose.

Carolina this year sucked until they were out of the playoffs and then they let him play just like he did last year. They didn't care if he threw interceptions so they let him go out and just throw it just as they did last year. That might win you games, but it won't win you Super Bowls.

All of that being said, Cam Newton was a mental mess earlier this year and that was in a small market like Carolina rather than that of the Cowboys where the quarterback is always being criticized even after wins.

I see someone else actually knows a little about Cam Newton beyond the media hype.

Heck no. Everyone around here wants to talk about Leadership and the lack there of. Well, Cam is a self centered player with zero leadership ability. No thanks.

I don't want a QB that goes into a Superman routine when the team is being blown out by 4 TD's.

He looks at Cam Newton, with this playing in the background...

"He's a diamond in the rough, but he's another RGIII waiting to happen

....just like Quincy could have been Michael Vick

....just like Jason Garrett is the 2nd Sean Payton"
...with "The Little FurBall of HATE" shreding a sports editorial (see avatar)
