Hearing that @MikeSilver's report on Blake Williams was dead on too, that he was seen as "too big for his britches".

I'm told, barring the unlikely return of Gregg Williams, the Rams do plan on hiring a def coordinator for 2013. Lots of young talent there.

He's here today. The KC interview lasted like 9 hours.

Per Kent Somers, a writer in Phoenix who has good ties to the cardinals, Reid is their guy and he'll be offered the world today. Perhaps even Coach/GM, though they want to hire a separate GM.

Others candidates include Gamble (SF), Caldwell (ATL), Keim (AZ), Ross (NYG), Telesco (IND). SD high on Arians and O'Brien among HC options

Chargers' brass is traveling to the East Coast today to conduct a handful of GM interviews. Only interview they had so far was Jimmy Raye.

In the running for Bolts job: Raye, Marc Ross, Tom Gamble, Steve Keim, David Caldwell and Tom Telesco. Goal is a hire by middle of next week
