Year after year, guys like you and a bunch of others in this thread show that you can't look at the cowboys with using even a single brain cell. You consider them with only your heart. It's why you've been wrong year after year, and anyone with a shred of common sense hasn't been.

Yep. I believe you're a Packer fan, right. Every fanbase around the league sees this. That's why they are like, keep doing what you're doing, Jerry. Surely he has people inside his circle telling him that his product is poor, mediocre, and is not getting it done.

Of course with a plan like dumping an all pro QB and going into the next year planning to suck I don't see how you would keep the job anyway.
Let this sink in
1-7 before injury
8-8
8-8

No Playoffs.... The last 3 years have worked out well huh?

That would be worse than chicago firing Lovie, to be honest.

this is one of jerry's worst qualities. according to him more cash = more talent.

You may be right. I speculated about Ryan because, at the time, I did not think it likely that JG would take the fall. This of course is based on the assumption that Jerry was serious about making some "big" changes.

I just now listened to the interview in it's entirety. What stuck out to me what what he said when asked about Rob Ryan coming back. He was so noncommittal on that that it made me think that something was up, not necessarily with Ryan per se but with Garrett. He can't give a firm commitment that his DC is coming back because if he has someone in mind as a HC they may have told him they want free reign over their coaching staff.

If Jerry was going to hire a puppet yes man he could straight up say yes or no. So maybe he talked to someone like Cowher or Gruden that would command more power.

But this tells me Jerry does have something cooking.

Pure speculation but it is an inference I draw from listening to very ticked of Jerry Jones.

JJ can never be predicted, but he's getting old and desperately wants to win, and he tends to speak too candidly when his emotions due to a loss like this are high, so I wouldn't be shocked at all if Garrett was fired. I think he believes Romo overcomes too much on offense and that the coaching doesn't make the best use of the offensive personnel. We've been down too often in the first half of games and our red zone penalties, i.e. lack of discipline, and lack of scoring is more of an indictment of Garrett than anyone else.
Is there any reward for good other than good?

Your being too kind to that GM. He is one of the worst in the league...never learns from past mistakes and looks at things through rose colored glasses. Also drafts too many prospects (nfl combine) instead of real football performers (actual play in college).

I think people are right --JJ will make headlines during superbowl week. He craves attention / spotlight, so he will try to be the center of attention during this week.

Doubtful. He might as well keep everything in tact if he wants to wait until February to do something.

Depends on what the "something" is that he has planned.
