He ain't leaving, but he has a ton of NFL coaching experience and is part of the Parcells/Belichick tree.

He's an NFL coach in College. He failed at Miami because he never had a QB.
I think, like with any coach, that if he had a QB he would easily have success in the NFL.

I think Saban found his dream job at Alabama and is not going back to the business of the NFL. He has it made at Alabama

Yep and when he left for Alabama, hsi hand picked hope for OC was Jason Garrett, but he instead came here.
Clearly Saban doesn't know anything about coaching talent. Ask the experts here.

Im sure Garrett would've done great at Alabama. He would finally have every single piece a team needs to have success at an amateur level.

Wondering if Saban would be asked to be the Cowboys's coach is supposed to be in the Fan forum. It's the perfect place for it to live.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Herbstreet seems to think Saban is very happy at 'Bama. And we all know he is payed very well.
Saban makes 5.5 million per year base but he also has tons of incentive add-ons. I'm sure it ends up being nearly 9 million per year.
The highest paid in the NFL are:
Sean Payton...I think his new deal is about 8 million/yr
Bill Belichick at 7.5 million.
Jeff Fisher makes 7 million
Shanny is at 6.9
Tom Coughlin at 6.75
Carroll is in there too
the 10th highest paid makes about 5 million
But most of the other 22 head coaches make in the 2-4 range.
The point is that pay would not be the reason.
It would have to be the challenge.

I've always thought the use of emoticons to bolster one's point of view was because the point of view was too weak to stand by itself.
It also reminds me of when a young child slips and falls and several older boys start insanely laughing. It's because they don't know any better and are just young BOYS.

Yeah, I'm going to consider your analysis over Saban's.

Love Saban. He would never leave Alabama though, nor would I expect him to. That gig is too sweet at this point. I can honestly see him as the Joe Paterno of Alabama and can't see why he wouldn't spend the rest of his life there.

Holding my breath on contract talks. Hopefully we can get something done.
