Twitter Watkins Tweet on possible DC... AZ DC Ray Horton

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins A possible replacement is Ray Horton, whom Garrett tried to hire a few years ago as DB coach. Horton is currently looking for HC gig now.

Doesn't make sense to me. Fire your current guy in the hopes you'll get someone else interviewing for head coaching jobs?

if they fired a proven guy for a commodity id be pissed. RR has more to be irked off than i do or will. What he did with what little he had was impressive.

I would absolutely love this. Horton is one of the best DC's in the game. He does deserve a HC gig though. I would love to be able to give crap to my Cardinals friends that we stole their DC.

Ray Horton, are you serious? How did the cardinals defense do while he was the DC?

It was a bad hire period. How does somebody change a bad culture who is already part of it?

Just led the league in sacks and interceptions. Also forced 17 fumbles and scored 8 touchdowns.

Fairly decent.

I guess you didn't watch much football this year? Their defense was what won them practically all 5 of their games.

Arizona defense is much more physical than Dallas. If Horton gets it...he is in for a big surprise when you sees lack of physicality on this defense.
