Echoing what others said here, it's probably Norv.

The sad part is "cutting off his knees" as you say would actually give Garrett his best shot of success and ultimately keeping the job after next season. We certainly have the offensive talent, but just not the coach to make it work.

I'm assuming its norv. I really won't be happy if it's norv. It's like we can't move past the 90's glory days.

Meh. Still will have a lot of deep dropbacks and relying on the OLine to give Romo time to scan the field. And we all know Jerry can't be trusted rebuilding this OLine, he's had 3 years to do it now

I think Jerry is sick to death of all the losing. Injuries, young team, old team, ect ect,...Its ALWAYS something with the same ole end result.
Think he is going ALL IN for next season. Norv as O.C , Lovie as D.C.

I'm not uncomfortable yet. Unless it's Jerry himself. Then I'll squirm.

True, maybe I should have said it differently. What he's doing is undermining his authority and making a mockery of the cowboys, again. Then JG will be the scapegoat when it doesn't work and then he will be fired!

I really liked our coaching staff this season, but I'd consider bringing in Norv and upgrading DC (if we actually get an upgrade there) to be pretty great moves.
Don't understand the thinking behind Skip Peete, though, unless they're just making room for a passing game coordinator and OL/running game coordinator. That makes some sense, I guess.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

He's really just positioning his argument to support the general anti-JG agenda. I don't think he really wants our HC cut off at the knees.
