He didn't get blamed for what he had to work with. He got fired because he isn't very good, and the Cowboys are likely looking to change their defense.
There's always more to the story.

I think its a good option with spencer being gone . My only problem is how to get carter and lee on at the same time . I wouldnt mind some form of cover 2 scheme and make teams earn a TD .

Imo 3-4 is pointless if your not playing an aggressive blitzing type strategy .

Interviewed but Brian Stewart didn't want and Wade sided with BS. Was on Garrett's initial Want list. Coached with him at Miami.
He's a no brainer if available.

He's top 5 in the league.

i dont know how anyone can say he wasnt good when he had more than half his defense injured .

If you want to throw out some blame look directly at garrett he single-handedly cost us multiple games .

I do admire what Ryan did with all the injuries this season, but I just had a big problem with his schemes and the way he was so vanilla in playing our defense. He hardly ever blitzed and considering we played a 3-4 defense, those defenses tend to be aggressive and we weren't.

Those all sound like pretty good names.

I would love Lovie or like someone else mentioned Monte Kiffin.

I think my favorite would be Horton. Would he make a lateral move though?

Holding my breath on contract talks. Hopefully we can get something done.

As was i , but like i mentioned in another thread , we would have gotten eaten alive had we blitzed more , when we did blitz , NOBODY got off theyre blocks and the free blitzers were too slow(think sensi) .

I think had we had the personnel to blitz and be aggressive , we would have done so but its very hard with so many players injured all year .

To be honest, he didn't blitz much when we were fully healthy. I don't understand why Rob did that constantly considering we added two corners in the off-season which should've INCREASED the amount of pressure and we actually blitzed less than in 2011. Just makes no sense.

Yup and if things don't get resolved quickly and the Pack coincidentally keep winning playoff games you can bet he will be the guy.

Well it makes sense to me seeing as we had a rookie cb , a new to the system cb , a new fs (who went out what week 4 ? ) lee and carter were done half way thru the season , ratliff out , and sensi slow and always a threat at getting beat deep .

It all adds up to me . like i said i dont think he got a fair shake .
