I hope for Lovie or Horton.

I fear that Jerry will screw it up badly though.

I hope we find a way to keep Matt Eberflus. He coached the 4-3 at Mizzou. Just about everything I liked about the defense was directly related to him ... ie the progress of Lee and Carter, the ability to pick up street free agent like Ernie Simms and get them ready to contribute right away.

Me too.

I'm holding out hope for either of those guys, but something in the back of my head expects Dave Wandstadt

I'd cry if they hire him.

I would definitely avoid this place if they hire Wandstadt. This place will crash and burn.

Agreed.

I thought he did excellent work.

It would be kinda interesting, not gonna lie. I'd be pissed as hell, but intrigued to watch the explosion

It would be amazing if Wannstedt got another NFL coordinator job after all the failures on his resume over the last 20 years. He's like the Nicholas Cage of coaches.

Great analogy.

I'm fine with either system. The thing that I don't like about the 3-4 is when the coordinators rush 3 and drop 8 into coverage.

Either system will work though. I'm affraid Wares career gets a little shortened in a 4-3 though.
