It was about 80% TO b.s. and 20% draft stuff. Reid was pissed...but he stayed smiling.

he was ready to blow a gasket. Sweet!
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Well, I certainly hope that the bus is doing okay.
Reid should've known that any discussion was going to center on Owens. His team was a Super Bowl runnerup. There are no huge question marks on his roster. Their draft picks were complementary to their team and should keep them at a high level. After knowing all that before hand, what the heck did he think they were going to question him about???

The football season doesn't start for 5 months. Maybe they though this was a casting call for the new series on ABC, "Desparate ESPN Jobs". Andy should be happy. Except a few days in June and late in July there is little media interaction from now until camp. He did have a chance to trade TO to Oakland during the draft and let it pass him by. TO and Al would have been a match made in somewhere other than Heaven.

This sort of quality reporting and actual asking serious, pertinent questions would have never happened on Chris Berman's draft watch.
It's usually a lovefest with his favorite coaches (Reid, Mariucci, Cowher).
When Boomer's away things just go down the toilet.
