Hmmm, that explains a lot about how you post and think.

I guess if Jerry refuses to fire Garrett, at least promoting him to a position of less involvement is the next best thing.

I honestly think his Vslley Ranch source is Jerry.
Would be nice if Werder got even 10% of this stuff right if he is getting it straight from Jerry.

Won't be a DE in this scheme either. He'll likely be a 3-technique, which means he'll still be a one-gapper. I think he just didn't want to have to constantly take on double teams from the guard and tackle. Don't blame him. Not built for that.
There's always more to the story.

Not much changes for Ratliff. He was playing a ton of 1 techs for Ryan and Wade, and he'll be playing 1 tech for Kiffin.

I'd like to keep Spencer.

But please bring in someone else to call plays, in fact - double, triple please. It's obvious the current system isn't working. I've got to believe Garrett is trying to listen to too many 'voices' during a game and that's why our playcalling is so slow to get to the huddle and we have all these horrific game management errors. Because I really don't think Garrett is stupid.
"I just kind of stopped in the middle of a route, which is the worst thing you can do," Ogletree said. "He just told me, 'What were you thinking?' I kind of mumbled something to him and he was like, 'You're stupid.' "

"If we can get the running game going early, that'll open up the passing game for Troy." - Jerry Jones, 11/12/12

Broaddus has also been acting all week like Garrett is going to be stripped of playcalling duties, and he was the first one I heard who dropped Monte Kiffin's name.

Unless it's Pete Carmichael Jr, I don't see a lot of guys who thrill me ... Brian Daboll, Mike Mularkey, etc. Honestly I'd love a Chan comeback as an OC, but there is probably just too much baggage with that.

He really has. I don't like the guy either but when he reports what his Valley Ranch sources have told him he is usually accurate.

I think Jerry gives him all the info he wants and in return he gets free publicity.

Farther back than that.
