Wow. So this is what it's like when a team invests heavily in the OL. 3 first rounders.

That's what I'm talkin' about.

troy aikman said this current day niners team reminds him most of our 90s cowboys. i can see why. they have good to great defensive players on every unit, a great oline and running back, good tight end/fullback. they even have the brash young head coach from college like jimmy. the team plays with swagger/borderline cockiness like our boys from the 90s too.

I'd pick OL over CBs any day. Off the top of my head, the 49ers haven't spent a single 1st/2nd round pick on a DB in at least 5-7 years.

On the other hand, losing draft picks for Roy Williams and one draft pick for Claiborne hurt.

I would love for Dal to invest in the trenches. Warmack would be a great start.

I credit Harbaugh for being ahead of the curve here. He's designed an offense to exploit the blitz-heavy, man coverage defenses that permeate the NFL these days.

Yup this could be the Era of the Running QB Offense. 10 years ago they tried but it failed because NFL teams tried to turn mobile QBs into pocket passers. But now, they're converting their entire offensive identity to fit with these running QBs.

The 90s - RB-dominated Era
The 00s - Passing game, QB-dominated Era
The 10s - Running QB Era

God I hate the 49ers. But their front office looks to have gotten it done. I really do not want them to get no.6.

yes Harbaugh makes the sum of the parts better and he is a leader. Two must haves in the NFL to be a difference maker

Maybe Gosselin can tell us again how smart the Packers are for investing so many picks in quarterbacks they don't use.
