I would say that unoriginal play call and questionable calls certain attributed to the lack of consistent execution. Garrett does not know how to put players in positions to do their best. You have to tailor an offense around your strengths, rather than that he plays the same offense year in and year out.
The offensive line needs more than just 2 additions, it needs 4.
We need a defensive end, and we have people who can fill that position. We drafted Kyle Wilber last year, and we can resign Victor Butler as well.
Defensive tackle is going to have to be manned by Hatcher, Lissemore, Ratliff, and Crawford.
There is a need to upgrade beyond ratliff, but I believe there are more pressing needs.
Safety is certainly a pressing need. Of the first three picks in the draft, two should be linemen, and one should be a safety.
