Great to hear from you, but I'm so sorry to hear what you've been through.
It certainly is a reminder, yet again, to put life in to perspective.

It does sound like you've been through hell and managed to come out of it quite possibly a better man--that is admirable. I won't say here what I guess or hoped happened, but just wish you the best.

Thanks Bro!! It's been a tough hill I filed for divorce but haven't served her yet as I found out she tried to kill herself in the 3rd. I haven't spoken to her since the 16th of December. I found out in the 14th that she had an affair on the 13th. I had to get a protective order because I am not sure what she is capable of doing since she is hooked on "pills" which was the down fall to our marriage and her career as a nurse. It's so sad to see what's happened. I hope one day she decides to get better. Maybe I will still be here. Rehab doesn't work that's where she met the guy. I have taken the road of worrying about me and getting back to me and focusing on work and my dogs and my health. I have no desire to go and party and no desire to date more meet other woman. I married my best friend and the love of my life and that hurts the most. If you ever want to vent I am here as well! I also decided to go back to church and join a new group that I hope will help me thru this.

Yeah, I date all the time. I found a really nice girl from Egypt who I adore. My last girlfriend was Iranian and I recently dated an Indian girl. I seem to get around the globe. This is all by chance. I don't seek them out, it's just who replies to me. I guess I look more ethnic than I am. But, hey, I'll take it.

You have to weed through the bad ones of course and every date is different, but it does give you a sense of being you back. And I'm glad you're getting there. It takes a lot to talk about it. We're not supposed to have emotions, etc. But we do. Sometimes you have to let yourself be emotional to get back to normal if that makes sense. Dating also helped me a lot.

Dating helps get over the sting. The rest is downhill. My advice is date. It won't hurt anything if you know how to set boundaries.
