So true.
And games that he makes key mistakes become the all-time biggest games in Cowboy history. Ok, maybe not that big...but you get the picture.
Game A:
I think we had to hear about that Jets game for a nearly two years.
Night game on the road in New York, everybody watching..and Romo has a couple of awful plays to go with an otherwise strong game. In any case...we lost and he played a big role.
Game B:
Fast forward to the same situation a year later, but an even bigger national TV game vs division rival and the defending SB Champ NY Gaints. The whole nation is watching.
He plays an outstanding game. We win.
It's forgotten within days. Jets game..huge. Giants game? meh
I'd like for him to have more of sample size in the playoffs. Right now there's not nearly enough. The Vikings game was hopeless. The three others were a win and two games that could have gone either way.
He did screw up vs Washington this year...but then again...that game is not of any significance if does not put the team on his back the second half of the season.
The dude is not a choker. That is someone who does not want the ball in his hands to go for the win. I think he loves those situations. I can't count how many times in critical moments he has driven the team for a go ahead score. Now sometime the other team comes back and wins it--like what happened in the Seattle/Atlanta game.
But he does try to do to much--and that gets him into trouble.
That is a flaw in his game, but I do not consider that choking at all.
