Default ESPN Dallas speculates Hue Jackson, Jim Caldwell, Mike Tice Potential OCs

Quote:
ESPN Dallas mentions Hue Jackson, Jim Caldwell, and Mike Tice as potential offensive play-caller options for the Cowboys.
Jackson is an assistant head coach for the Bengals and was linked as a possible Panthers OC candidate before losing out to Mike Shula. Caldwell is currently calling plays for the Ravens, and Tice was recently let go after coordinating the Bears offense for one season in 2012. In-house candidates are QBs coach Wade Wilson and OL coach/OC Bill Callahan. Jason Garrett has been reluctant to give up his play-calling duties, but Jerry Jones seems intent on finding a solution.

If we hire Tice...

I'd rather have Red continue to call Plays than these three stiffs. Ugh.

Why is mike tice even an option. We're we just watching one side of the ball?

I'd definitely like to have Jim Caldwell.
In the final two months of 2011, Romo’s passer rating was 115.9.

Wow, it's very difficult to find an OC worse than JG but ESPNDallas managed to find three of them. I really hope they are not considering any of these clowns

Seriously, how do you feel if you're JG right about now?
By the end of 2014 Romo will not be starting for the cowboys and the most popular phrase on the board will be..."see I knew we shouldn't have signed him to that big contract".

I'd take Callahan, Jackson , Caldwell then Tice. In that specific order.

I would take Caldwell or Cameron over JG any day.

Tice makes the most sense for the uncomfortable level.

I like Caldwell and I think he is doing an awesome job with that Ravens offense. Especially considering he took over in the middle of What Dec?

To clarify, the link doesn't say the Cowboys are actually interested in or talking to any of those three coaches. It's just Calvin Watkins throwing out a few of his own ideas and speculating.

Mike Tice was mentioned in another article to come coach TE's if Garrett left, or OL if Callahan if he was made the play caller.
