Nice selections, I think Lacy is too early for us to take RB with all the other needs in the second rd, but I did not see us trading up for MO last year so I am open to all ideas. Nice mix keep on mocking.

I'd be good with that...but is Floyd still going to be there at 40...and is Lacy still going to be there later?
I don't see it.

stay with the trade down theory:
1 - Jonathan Cooper (guard)
2 - Floyd (DT)
2 - Phillip Thomas (safety)
3 - Uzzi (guard) - I think he rises to the 3rd round
4 - Bell (RB) Michigan State
5 - Square (DT)
6 - Smith (OLB) can he play DE?

I would trade down and pick up a 4th rounder.
1- DE- Ezekial Ansah
2- DT Shariff Floyd
3- S Eric Reid
4- OG Alvin Bailey
4- RB Montee Ball
5- OT Brian Winters
6- DT Everett Dawkkns

Don't hate it, but a LOT of things would have to go right for all those guys to be there when we pick.

I would love this draft, but no way does Shariff last until our pick in the 2nd. He probably won't even make it out of round 1, for that matter.
But if it did, wow. The defense would get a serious push towards Kiffin's 43, right away.
Elam would be all over in that defense, and Shariff is a prototype 3-tech, but he could also play the other DT spot if Ratliff is playing well.
I love Lacy and think a combo of him and Murray would have us set at RB, but we need interior OL just too bad to take a RB in round 2.
Replace Lacy with the best G available and take a Kiffin OLB in round 3 and we are talking.
Say:
1 - Elam S Florida
2 - Shariff DT Florida
2 - Dallas Thomas OG Tenn
3 - Khaseem Green OLB Rutgers
4 - Joseph Randle RB Oklahoma State
5 - O. Uzzi OG Ga Tech
6 - Sio Moore OLB Connecticut
I would be a happy camper with that... but like I said, unfortunately, Shariff won't last that long.

Here is what I am thinking.
1) DT - value is here, I don't think Jerry see SS or interior OL value here. So Jesse Williams - DT - Alabama -- plugs the middle and collapses the pocket. Strong as an ox.
2) OL -- need OL too bad to not get at least one -- Barrett Jones if available, I doubt it so maybe Larry Wormock will still be there.
3) OL -- best tackle available -- they like Parnell but need more since I think Free is gone. Fluker might fall, so I will list him here. If not, best available OT.
4) SLB -- Give me Sean Porter - LB - Texas AM --- he does nothing but make plays
5) Safety -- Give me Evans out of Florida
6) RB -- give me Christine Michael - Texas AM - solid runner -- or whatever the best available RB is on their board.
UDFA
Patrick Lewis - C - Texas AM -- he is used to centering the ball in the shotgun as well as under center. He's played the bigs from the SEC. I am not sure why he is not rated higher. He is my sleeper, I think he starts year 2. Dustin Harris - CB - Texas AM -- good special teams pickup -- possible starter in a few years.
Cody Davis -- Texas Tech -- will surprise some.
