I would bring him on board for a low contract to be a redzone guy. If we add one of the blue chip interior linemen this year we may put together a decent running line next year and regardless of our lines status he would be an asset in the redzone.

He's coming off a 1 year deal at $3 million, so considering this past season, we can get him much cheaper. Worth a shot, very little risk, and considering Murray has yet to even come close to a full season, I'd like it.

If he comes cheap, sure why not. However, I don't think he's going to go anywhere where he doesn't have at least a small shot of starting again. So he's not coming here. And we shouldn't sign him for more than anything other than the minimum. Which won't get him.
If you want a RB, draft one! How many times must I say it.

If he comes cheap, bring him in.
Bye Free and Bernadeau.
Bye Austin and Ogletree.
Bye Sensy and McCray.
Bye Garrett.

Any Razorback fan will tell you that there is no love lost between Peyton and Nutt. Peyton isn't likely to play for Nutt again.

Watching Hillis play in Kansas City each week has really soured me on him. I expect so much more when he came from Cleveland. I can tell you the Chef fans are ready to see him go if that tells you anything.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Not interested.
He's not done anything really for the last 2 years. He couldn't even find his way on the field, for the most part, this last season.
No thanks.

None of our RBs have ever been Madden cover boys. So, why not?

Agree with this.
But... What was the issue between Hillis and Nutt that you guys are talking about?

I've heard more than a few times that Hillis was not a good teammate.
Selfish and self-centered were two things that tended to show up.
I don't know him so I really don't know how true it is. But normally when it comes up multiple times from different origins, there's some truth to it.

being in cleveland i can tell you that he came in as a fan and media favorite but in the end they could not get rid of him fast enough mostly because of a big head and selfish behavior

The way he handled his contract situation in Cleveland was bizarre.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.
