Well, TO did and so did Crayton... those guys that did, aren't here. And it's been confirmed on the field by how inept the offense looks with Garrett in charge, despite these 'cancers' being removed.

Irrespective of what you think about them, that qualifies as testimony and evidence.

What excuse does Garrett have now...

The absolute worst thing we can do is retain a head coach who wants to run his offense and then force him into bringing someone else on the staff to run it for him. It's ridiculous micromanaging nonsense that this team has seen too many times over the last 17 years. It destroys the credibility and authority of the head coach. Setting him up for nothing but failure.

You either roll with Garrett in charge or you fire him. It's should be as simple as that.
I see a major problem with first half droughts, and most of our points coming from a Romo-led hurry up offense when we're down by 14+ entering the 4th quarter.

worst Oline in the league? nothing but hyperbole. we wouldnt have gone 8-8 with the WORST Oline in the league. believe that.

But I do believe that this is General Garrett Bonaparte's last stand, and if he wants to make it as the OC/HC then I can definitely respect that.
Cowboy Underdog for 2007: Patrick Watkins

well, that has nothing to do with this for one......for two, Just because John is looking for another job and people disliked him doesnt mean that Jerry was forcing him out , and it certainly doessnt mean Jerry was doing it trying to get Garrett to quit

Witten, Romo, Ware, Lee, Carter, et al.

TO and Crayton who never played under him as HC.

Hmmmmmmmm.

I think you're going to strain a muscle reaching there.

your definition of inept sucks.

Has the results been mediocre? yes. inept? not even close.

Jason Witten likes John Garrett a lot. So does James Hanna.

Just saying.

Me starining a muscle reaching.. that's quite laughable for multiple reasons, among them:

1. TO and Crayton did play for him and you didn't say HC. You said coach and JG was coaching with them and they said he pretty much sucked.

2. So Sean lee tells us Rob Ryan is a great DC, you tell us it was his mouth that got him canned.

So you get to pick and choose what constitutes testimony and evidence?
So yeah, spin it anyway you want... but it is what it is.. testimony and evidence...

Yeah, but he's not the OC, that is Bill Callahan. Just telling the truth.

See how the Garrett homer's spin this latest news... He's a genius at drawing up plays. Well, he can't handle play-calling duties and just focus on doing what he does best. He should strictly be the HC, because he's a leader of men. Well, he shouldn't be the HC, because he's really insecure. How about Jason as GM?
let me give you some advice. If you are ever in this position of power, don't allow other people to undermine your power. Once that happens, it is no longer possible to lead.

If this report is true, it merely confirms to me that Garrett understands the organizational infrastructure required to win, and Jones does not.
