It's strange that the Cowboys are releasing statements of which assistant coaches will be back but not 1 time have the Cowboys came out and said Jason Garrett will be back.

if i know Jerry, and if his intentions were all along to change HC's. Then we are about a week away from that announcement. He likes to make a big splash during Superbowl week. Homgrem and Gruden can only hope so.

What big splash has he made in the past 5 years during Superbowl week? Please name them. You can go back 10 years if you'd like!

Didn't the Parcells news come out close to the superbowl? Jones did something once and now everyone thinks he will do it every year.

I can't remember specific events, but yes, this poster is correct - Jerry in the past has made announcements superbowl week. Initially I thought Wade Phillips hiring was one - but he was hired 02/08/2007 - the superbowl was played 02/04/2007.
