Default Kyle Van Noy

This is the LB that jumped off the screen in the Pointsetta Bowl playing for BYU. I was all set to watch the DE E Ansah which was in retrospect one of his worst games of the year. I went back and watched some other BYU games and he looked very differently. In a good way, so much that I would not be ashamed if we grabbed him in the first or second rd.
Back to Van Noy, he is a talented player, just not sure what position he will play in the NFL, anyone have more insight into this guy?

He's returning to school.

12/31/12 - It's not quite 2013 yet but BYU got some excellent news heading into the new year. On Monday linebacker Kyle Van Noy announced that he will not enter the NFL Draft this spring but will instead return to Provo for his senior season.

"I've decided to stay and complete my senior season at BYU," Van Noy said in a release. "I plan to finish what I started and feel like I've still got some unfinished business. I'm looking forward to being on the field this next season with my Cougar teammates."

If Van Noy has things left to accomplish after what was an outstanding 2012 season, then 2013 is going to be historic. Van Noy finished 2012 with 13 sacks (tied for most in the country), 22 tackles for loss (third nationally), forced 6 fumbles (second) and blocked 2 kicks.

He also put on a show for the entire country by becoming a one-man wrecking crew in BYU's 23-6 win over San Diego State in the Poinsettia Bowl. With BYU struggling on offense and trailing 6-3 in the fourth quarter, Van Noy took the game over. Van Noy forced and recovered a fumble in the end zone to give BYU its first touchdown and would then intercept a pass and return it 17 yards for BYU's second touchdown. Van Noy would also block a punt in the game before being named the game's MVP. - Tom Fornelli, CBSSports.com

12/31/12 - Brigham Young will have playmaking linebacker Kyle Van Noy back for another season. The school announced Monday that Van Noy will not declare early for the NFL draft but instead return for his senior season. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound Van Noy says he wants to ''finish what I started.''

He led BYU's No. 3-ranked defense with 13 sacks, 22 tackles for loss, eight quarterback hurries, a school-record six forced fumbles, two interceptions, two blocked kicks, a fumble recovery and two TDs. He is the only player in the nation to record a stat in every major defensive category each of the last two seasons. Van Noy joins junior wide receiver Cody Hoffman in deciding to complete his BYU eligibility. Hoffman finished with 100 catches for 1,248 yards and 11 TDs. - AP Sports

Thanks I wondered why he was not showing up in any mock drafts.
