Parcells goes base 4-3 for season finale vs Lions. (L 39-31)
Ware has 3 sacks (nearly 2 more btw), 5 tackles.
Anyone who thinks that a healthy D.Ware cannot play DE in the 4-3 is plain ignorant.
He will be a phenomenal DE, a la Charles Haley.

So let me get this straight, you're basing your opinion of his ability to play in a certain defense off of one game that took place six (ish) years ago? Ignorant, huh?

To be fair, it's more evidence than people proclaiming that he can't sight unseen.

How about a "to be determined"? For anyone to argue either way makes no sense.

Ware is about 15lbs heavier and 5 years more experienced. This is not a washed up football player who has lost a step. He was injured. And still managed double digit sacks.
My point is in one start at 4-3 DE with a limited playbook and lesser talent around him, he dominated. There is no reason to think he cannot play DE in Kiffin's system.

He played the 43 at Troy if memory serves correctly. He can do it.

He was a DE in college converted to LB in the pros.
Is there any reward for good other than good?

I'd live to do a poll and see all the people who think he can't do it.

SMH at anyone who thinks Ware can't play DE in a 4 - 3. He will be awesome and will NEVER have to drop back in coverage. A DE has two responsibilities in a 4 - 3, outside containment on the run and getting to the QB on pass plays. Ware is very good at both of these things. He will be a beast in a 4 - 3.
"Maybe next year!!" We have been saying this phrase WAYYYYY too long!!!!!!!!!!

I believe Ware would be just fine as a defensive end. It is true that he did get beat up a little, so the question would be if he can come back at 100 percent from that shoulder surgery.

I'm a ware of that and I'm confident he can play the 43.
TALENT allows you to switch.
