I ignored nothing. I'm the first person on this forum that mentioned during the season that John Garrett would likely be gone. He wants to run his own program eventually. Preferably at the college level. This change doesn't shock me even a tiny bit.

Seems like another Jason Garrett move.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

Thank you Jerry for pushing John out the door.

One of the few things you've gotten right lately.

Then why didn't he get an upward moving job? Going from TE Coach/Passing Game coordinator to WR coach?

How does that help him run his own program?

The reality is Jerry wanted him gone, and he is gone.
In the final two months of 2011, Romo’s passer rating was 115.9.

Of course that's how it happened. Maybe Garrett just saw it as a better opportunity. The guy is from Jersey. Schiano coached at Rutgers. Garrett wants to coach a college program. Not too hard to connect the dots there. But okay.
There's always more to the story.

Tony Sparano come on down! I hope...

"I just always feel that he's going to find a way to win the game…He has evolved into a great, great leader of the team...He is the total package." Roger Staubach about Tony Romo

"They're a talented group with a great quarterback, and they're well on their way." Troy Aikman on the Cowboys and Tony Romo

But what do Roger and Troy know about great quarterbacking, talent, leadership, and winning anyway?

What information do you have that Jerry did this? Interesting sig.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

My guess is it doesn't really effect him one way or the other if JG stays or goes elsewhere. He's been a HOF TE since the moment he stepped on an NFL field. That predates John Garrett, and quite frankly will continue to be the case no matter who is the TE coach. It's more about what a coach can do to develop the younger TEs.

I still do not understand all the angst concerning John Garrett.

Before Galloway and mortensen started this John Garrett stuff two weeks ago I never saw anyone mention his name.

And I have yet to see anyone explain to me how he was holding back the team or the offense.....

If this gets us tony sporano it will be a good thing to me.

If it gets us mike tice as the coach, well ok I guess.

I simply don't get all the anger over John Garrett.
