Tim Brown just was on the Ben and Skin show and went into great detail about Callahan's offense... Said it would be a good thing if he called plays because he's the smartest offensive guy he's ever been around. Said Gruden was great at anticipating what the D was going to do and calling something to beat it, but Callahan had an even better system.
Said it's very complicated, though. Said they'd go to the line with four plays: A zone run and pass and a man run and pass. Said if Tony can handle it, we'd do great, especially with the WRs we have.

I don't mind that Jerry is making things uncomfortable. After the last 2 season coaches should be uncomfortable as well as players. They need to know their jobs are on the line and if we don't win games they will be gone. If that upsets other fine.
As for who is making the calls there are a lot of assumptions and little facts so people will choose to believe what best fits their own agenda.

Yes. Because the problem with our offense is it isn't complex enough.
One day we will find the right Xs and Os to unleash all this talent.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

I certainly don't believe the playcalling was the main reason for failure last year. Oh well. I guess it's to Wal-Mart for lineman again this offseason.

He will be keeping Jason Garrett's system, Romo is a big advocate of keeping the system in place.

Often times you see that in the fourth quarter. A lot of time the team on the other side feels it. We pride ourselves on being a physical football team. It's important to us. It's an important time of the year to lay that foundation." - Coach Garrett

Is that a bad thing? Reading this tweet it seems the author wishes the reader to think that. It sounds like Jason is the only coach in the league who does this and its a BAD thing.
Hrmmm

That tweet is from Mike Fisher, he's actually one of the fair media guys. (He's not making it out to be a bad thing) So you are seeing what you want on that one.

True, that's what some have said... Which makes this entire process even more screwed up.
With the difficulties we've had at times on hot reads, I was hoping we'd go WCO with more built-in hots.

why is everyone commenting as if Callahan IS the new play caller? The only annoucnement on this was that a decision has not yet been made.

There is no such thing as overkill when satirizing news reporting these days.

They already have some WCO elements, I would think he has some input on adding plays to the offense already.
