Didn't say it was, meaning your side-tracking from the point.. The point is it proves that a man very tight to Jerry, who Jerry listens to for advice, who has ties to Kiffin and Nutt, who was brought in for an interview and so forth knows the insider information about what way was being followed in Valley Ranch these past few years... Lacewell isn't known to be a liar, though one can question is evaluation of talent during those years, which he himself admits from what I remember, as awful..

If true, does that mean he gets to implement his own offense, or just call plays from the Garrett playbook?

If Garrett decides to give up play calling duties I'm ok with it. If jones forces it on him we are doomed.

Default ESPN Crawler: Jerry Jones says JG will no longer call plays in Big D

HERCULES HERCULES

I knew it was coming. Thank you to the decision makers in Big D for seeing the obvious. Garrett was stretched too thin. HAHALLELUJAH!

Go listen to the interview... he never said that. It may indeed happen, and I think it probably will, but he never said that in the interview. The headlines are an exaggeration if there has ever been exaggeration.

Jerry confirmed Garrett not calling plays in this video:

For Garrett, this signifies a crossroads. One foot in and one foot clearly out of the door... He might want to do better than 8-8 next year. I'm rooting for him and see this as Jerry finally doing the right thing to give Garrett the best chance to succeed. I know Jerry originally encouraged the whole HC/OC timeshare to save money but he now clearly understands that's taxing for any coach; let alone a coach that is still learning how to be a coach. Bravo Jerry. Bravooooooooooooo.
