Mentioned Okafor out of Texas, I cant see him in the 1st. Mentioned Tim McDonald (ugh) I would hate that pick in the first 3 rounds. Specifically talked about Jonathan Cooper even though he was not at SB. Again brought up the names Phillip Thomas and Jonathan Cyprien.

Yes, I heard the segment. I don't believe the Cowboys will spend another #1 on a tackle. I still they go for an interior defensive lineman in round 1 and safety or guard/center in round 2.

yeah, I think that's a pretty good guess right there. DT's are valued high while S and interior OL aren't.

It could change if they rate Warmack high enough and he slides, or if they rate a S high enough and he's there... but right now, I'd say you were correct.

I'd be happy with Lane Johnson at #18 but it's too sound a decision for our GM.

I could live with that. I think this is a good year to move back (which I'm normally against) because there will probably be a lot of similar guys there at pick 18.

If Cooper, Lane Johnson, Vaccaro, Elam, Floyd, and a few others are similarly rated, they could move back, get an extra 3rd or maybe even 2nd, and still get a starter on the OL, DL, or S.

Obviously, if there is a guy sitting there at 18 that the scouts rate well above the others, you simply take him at 18 and move on.

I'm hoping for the same. Dallas is gonna have to trade back at some point, if they can find a trade partner. They need more picks.
