Yes sir. I sure want to wrong about Jerry the GM. The owner, I like. But as I've posted numerous times before: I'll continue to watch. Then I shouldn't complain. Okay, my self-therapy session is now complete. On to the draft forum.

I agree with this. Or at least, it's among the hardest. I don't think winning with the owners they've got in, say AZ would be any cakewalk. But Dallas poses a unique set of problems--and they include the owner/GM.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Had he gone to Baltimore, I believe that Newsome and that entire franchise would have handled him better and the structure in place would have served to help develop him. In Dallas, just not enough of that in place and what we see is the result of that lack of experience in key spots withing the organization.
JMO of course.

He's doing just fine. We just don't recognize it because our fans are largely impatient entitled ninnies.

I'll watch and complain. The fact that I can't change it doesn't make it right. If we were saddled with a bad starting QB for years I wouldn't start pretending he can play if we refuse to get rid of him.
I hate him as a GM and an Owner. Because it's the Owner that causes the GM.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

Are we sure ozzie offered JG the job, or did he just interview him? I only ask because an article I read earlier this week made it seem as though he chose Harbaugh over JG.

He was offered the job outright, and turned it down to stay our OC.
But, hey, it earned him some fan loyalty, at least.

If I were an NFL owner I would offer Ozzie an ownership stake.
The way he run the Ravens since the moved to Baltimore is the "model way" to run a franchise. That franchise has such an identity that you can bring in a coach from another organization and still be a consistant contender

In a manner of speaking, I suppose so. I believe it would be more accurate to say that we are not providing the kind of atmosphere that would but him in the best position to succeed. I also believe that you have to be able to learn from your mistakes and I don't really believe that happens with Garrett in Dallas.
