When Glazer comes out and says JG's got something going in Dallas, he's probably tuning into something that more fans should pay some attention to. Jerry's unnecessary interference notwithstanding.
Well Glazer said he talked to players about what is going on in Dallas at the Pro Bowl... So which players were at the Pro Bowl from the Cowboys that he could have talked to? Maybe Glazer is trying to make a story out of nothing? Maybe people are exxageratin what Glazer was saying... You know, considering not too many Cowboys players are even at the Prow Bowl, unless I guess, some took a flight down there by themselves to hang out, even though they aren't playing

But there are some here you can actually *see* his intangibles, amigo.

Sure, he is making money, but he is also spending a lot on salaries and would expect a better result for all that cash.

You can tell by looking at him when he's getting booed but you can also tell by his actions afterwards. Just a few weeks ago he was committed to Jason Garrett as OC, ALL IN was the call! No so much anymore, must have missed that card on the turn, and then the river ran dry.

That is as bothersome as him sucking forever and a day, he can't stick to his plan or anyone elses plan in the first place.

3/4 wait 4/3, but never even committed to a 3/4 good enough to hire a decent 3/4 NT better than Jason Ferguson!!

What in the FOG JERUUUH?

Babe just said this coaching staff is just being thrown together in a hodge podge way.

Then he threw in that Kiffin is here because of Larry lacewell, then added the note of lacewell running the worst drafts here ever and how it is bad they are taking advice from him again.

This offseason gets more depressing by the day.

RS... I hope you are wrong. How does it end? Stay tuned, the cbz will tell you. ;-)

He was on the "Petros and Money" radio show in Fox Sports Radio tonight. They asked him about the moves and he said Jerry is stripping power from Garrett with the coaching moves he's made and that Cowboys players in Hawaii at the Pro Bowl are wondering what's going on. Also said people he's talked to in the NFL are confused by the Kiffin hire.

I met John Fox and Jay Glazer the same day...they were having dinner together at a restaurant with Fox's family. He is tight with coaches and staff too.

Glazer is the best insider in the business.

Glazer is legit, so if he says that Jerry is stipping Garret of powers you can take that to the bank.

The OP was just stating what Glazer said, so it is moot if it fits any agenda or not, the info from Glazer is what this thread is about. And to alot of posters it does have value because we are interested in what a legit insider like Glazer has to say.

Just because you dont like the message(what Glazer said) is no reason to attack the messenger (the OP).
As the official head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Garrett is 16-16............"Its a Process of stacking good days"

Considering Babe is a big Garrett guy, this is kinda surprising that he is saying Garrett has been nuetered. Meaning it was Lacewell's decision to bring in Kiffin and not Garrett, so you wonder what other changes were somebody elses decisions and not Garretts.

Maybe Babe is trying to grease the skids so if the Boyz tank this year he can say Garrett had no part in these changes? Will that even matter if we suck or is Garrett gone regardless?

Interesting questions............................stay tuned.

If Babe and Glazer are saying Jerry is stripping power then would anyone really bet money against what they are saying? I doubt it.

This is definitely not going to end well. And I like the Kiffin hiring.

If we're firing and hiring coaches on the sage advice of Larry Lacewell, then we're in for a rough season.

Jerry must really dig the circus atmosphere

Well, whether it was Lacewell or not, we just picked up the best DL coach in the game, so that ain't bad.... Kiffin, considering age as and his being away from the NFL for a long time, I'm kind of unimpressed, despite his track record ...

Personally, in the end, I'm worried about maximizing the potential of Romo, which is not happening with the Red-Headed genius, because the team is going to live and die with him. The offensive play-calling is what needs to be hammered out...

And if they are stripping power away from him, this necessitates logically, that Garrett HAD power, meaning he can't be excused under some pretense that he was being 'interfered with'...

On the flipside of that...perhaps Romo has been maximized.

Could indeed be to the best of Garrett's abilities...but also could be that Romo will never get any better.
