He's working as Stephen's flak jacket right now. Once it's removed, things could get ugly for the younger Jones.

Just to clarify some things said about scouts/execs earlier...

The execs/front office guys usually do not watch the game and leave the day before, however, the scouts do remain to the see "cradle to grave" process to the end.

The film is given to them afterwards, so Risen is correct about that.

The purpose of the Senior Bowl is to see how prospects respond to coaching at the NFL level and how they respond to it. At this point the scouts are still looking at their technical flaws and if they can be "coached up" out of them.

Much like the combine, this event shouldn't really affect their overall grade but rather confirm things that the scouts have seen all year long.
"It's little bit like the description of pornography from years back. It's hard to define it. But you know what it is at the end of it. It's hard to define it. I think you know who is more physical. Often times you see that in the fourth quarter. A lot of time the team on the other side feels it. We pride ourselves on being a physical football team. It's important to us. It's an important time of the year to lay that foundation." - Coach Garrett

Seriously? How would you know.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Thanks for the clarification...

I think what your post does is pretty much confirm that Jerry's absence is a non-issue.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

Must be looking for a special teams coach.

He is combing the X games for some [nice young ladies]. He got tired of Jean taking up all of her time with interior design.

He did, but he stumbled and fell into it. They said there was a bottle near where he fell in but didn't identify what type of bottle. They said they could hear him making sounds like "Wee,Wee" like that little pig in the commercial on TV.

Isn't that special that Jerry is enjoying himself.

Then, if you're not going to do any work, step down. And BTW, those other folks need to be fired.

Media says, "Jerry's at the Senior Bowl!"

Fans say, "Great, he's there interfering and emasculating Garrett again!"

Media says, "Jerry's at the X-Games during Senior Bowl!"

Fans say, "Great, so much for being the GM and caring about the team!"
