Cowboys' Garrett hits No. 1 on inaugural list of Coaches Hot Seat rankings
I don't mean to start any issues in the room but I guess this is the preception from the outside or at least from Coaches Hotseat.com. No surprises considering the moves that have been made. Hope JG can shut them up.
The top seven on the list, in order:
1. Jason Garrett, Dallas
2. Rex Ryan, NY Jets
3. Jim Schwartz, Detroit
4. Ron Rivera, Carolina
5. Dennis Allen, Oakland
6. Mike Munchak, Tennessee,
7. Joe Philbin, Miami

They should start a list of "GM's on the Hot Seat".
Wonder who would be #1.

My guess is that 5 of the 7 will be fired by the end of the 2013 season. Only Philbin and Allen survive.

It wouldn't be Jerry if that's what you're implying.

this always comes down to laziness and which team draws in more people. I am learning to live with Garrett and live with whatever may happen. But seriously, how do some of these other teams even justify keeping some head coaches? I understand loyalty and all that, but i dont get that JG is first on the list when Rex alone keeps the other teams in the AFCE alive and well because they know what to expect from his teams.
How many more seasons can the bengals justify keeping Lewis? Honestly?

No because he can't be on the hot seat.

With the media, yes it would.
Garrett will survive 2013 after he gets this team to the playoffs and wins a game.

I think the voting also considers the team history and how they (front office) have handled head coaches in the past.

He has been on the hot seat since he bought the team.

No it wouldn't with the media since the media is pretty clear on what a "Hot Seat" means. To clarify for you; the 'Hot Seat' is a term used to point out that the person in question is in danger of losing his job. As your NoJones brigade is so incessantly willing to uselessly rail against, Jerry is not going anywhere. If there's no chance he'll be fired, then he's not on a hot seat. Nice attempt at logic though. If you wanted to further your agenda you might have pointed out that he'd more likely be listed at 32 and then gone off on yet another pointless tirade.

I agree in that it's going to take a playoff win for JG to keep his seat as HC next year. Anything less and I think he's gone.

Based on their track record together he should be good for at least 5 more years
That job security he has is one of the biggest mysteries in sports.

Lewis has at least gotten his team to the playoffs two years in a row with a bunch of spare parts and castoffs on defense and a much lesser QB than we have.

Not sure Garrett should be #1 on the list, but pretty sure he is on it.
