Kyle Long at #28?

I think he ends up in the 3rd round or later. He is projected to OG only now, with his short arm measurement. At 6-6, 304 he is very thin as an NFL Guard.

That is huge jump though the scouts thought well of him at the SB. Wonder if a good cover CB fell, maybe Carr gets moved to safey.

Only as a plan B or plan C, IMO. It would only happen if they fail to come out of training camp with some decent options at Safety.

I think it's more likely that Sterling Moore takes snaps at Safety than Carr; however, I'm just pulling that opinion out of my backside. I have nothing to back it up.

They might even have Orlando Scandrick take some snaps at Safety. With his contract, I would expect them to want him on the field as much as possible. I know that he made a statement that he is not a Safety, but I'm not really certain about the context of that comment. Also, they wouldn't be taking him out of his slot-CB role.

Ansah would be a steal by trading down a few slots especially if they can't come to terms with Spencer in free agency...

I'm waiting for more info on Richardson's character issues. It's been widely reported that he has issues, but I don't know the specific details.

The best I can gather, Richardson has a DeAngelo Hall or Randy Moss type of personality.

Either way, it's doubtful that the Cowboys draft him. If it turns out that he does not really have issues, then he will be picked before #18, IMO. If he does have legit issues, then the Cowboys won't draft him.

I'm also interested to hear more about Kawann Short's work-ethic issues.

Throw John Hankins in there as well. Don't understand how his stock has dropped so much in the past 2 weeks or so. He would be a great value at 18 if you ask me.

Will never happen. We'dll be lucky if he's there at 18. If he were and we passed on him, the Giants would jump all over him in a heartbeat. The Bengals too.

That's enough for me to say no thanks. Don't need another a guy with character issues and/or a poor attitude. Especially not in the 1st round.

IMO the top 5-10 is pretty weak this year compared to most. Top 15 even.

I like (not love where we are).

If I was forced to make a decison right now I would go Floyd or Short at 18 if who we think will be there are there.
