Cowboys | Mackenzy Bernadeau to get bump in salary Thu Jan 31, 09:16 PM

Dallas Cowboys OG Mackenzy Bernadeau will have his 2013 base salary increase from $1.75 million to $2.25 million because of incentives in his contract.

I don't see us replacing him honestly even with his jump in salary.

Not a problem (this off-season). Get rid of Costa and his salary.

I could see us dumping Costa and sliding Berny over. Then scout some guards to play either side. Use Cook as the backup C and RT, then killer as the OG backup and use Parnell as the backup LT. We would then be able to only need one true starter, then pickup a project in rounds 4 through 7.

So you plan to keep Free,Livings, and Berny as starters?

That oline sounds pretty similar to last year's except maybe some improvement due to continuity and 1 new starter at RG.

I'm a bit uncomfortable with that.

Incentives?

Suit up as an incentive is a pretty sweet one.

People I respect have said Bernadeau is more suited to play center than guard.

If you added two impact players at RG and RT, this could work.

They need to bring as many options to Training Camp as possible. Costa, Bernadeau, Kowalski and hopefully a draft pick. I expect Cook to come to TC also; however, if he comes out of camp as the starter, the running game is doomed. He cannot run block.

Bernadeau might be better at Center than OG, but I can't see him being drastically different at one position vs the other. I wouldn't put his name in Ink at this point.

No, Free would be gone. Parnell would be RT and gameday backup LT. We could select a OT in the middle rounds and get a OG early and start him.

I guess thats the 'being a bum' incentive
The toothbrush had to be invented in West Virginia, if it was created anywhere else it would have been called a teethbrush.
