Gruesome Tug-Of-War Accident
Each lost at least 4 fingers when the rope snapped?

A very strange accident. I grew up playing tug-o-war through junior high and never saw more than a little burn to someone. It had to be the type of rope but still can't see that happening again, a freak accident.

It appears they may have had the rope tied around their hands ... usually the rope used is too thick for that.
