Default A. Peterson wins OPOY and MVP Award/Peyton - Comeback POY/Arians - COY/Watts - DPOY

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been named as the NFL’s most valuable player.

Peterson also earned the offensive player of the year award Saturday night. Peterson is the third Vikings player to win the MVP award joining quarterback defensive tackle Alan Page (1971) and quarterback Fran Tarkenton (1975).

Peyton Manning’s historic comeback yields Comeback Player of Year award

For the first time ever, the two strongest candidates for league MVP also are the two strongest candidates for Comeback Player of the Year.
The latter has gone to Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.
Manning beats out Vikings running back Adrian Peterson; both players arguably had the best two comeback seasons of all time. Manning missed a full season due to multiple neck surgeries. Peterson torn his ACL and MCL in Week 16 of the 2011 season.

Forced to take over control of the Indianapolis Colts mid-season as head coach Chuck Pagano was hospitalized with leukemia, offensive coordinator Bruce Arians took the helm and guided the Colts to an 11-5 record and a playoff berth.
On Saturday, Arians was named NFL coach of the year.

J.J. Watt nearly unanimous as the NFL’s defensive player of the year

After a dominant season with the Houston Texans, J.J. Watt has been named the NFL’s defensive player of the year.

The 50-member Associated Press panel that votes on NFL awards gave Watt the defensive player of the year honor almost unanimously: Watt got 49 votes, while Denver outside linebacker Von Miller got one.

Luke Kuechly earns defensive rookie of the year honors

Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly was named as the league’s defensive rookie of the year on Saturday.

AD's story is the best comeback since McGwire returned from injury to hit 70 home runs.

Oh wait...

I think they got it right.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Oh wait...
AD Peterson has always been a supreme athlete so I doubt seriously he used any performance enhancements to get back on the field...

Defensive Rookie of the Year voting

Player Position No. of votes
Luke Kuechly, Carolina Panthers LB 28

Bobby Wagner, Seattle Seahawks LB 11

Casey Hayward, Green Bay Packers CB 6

Janoris Jenkins, St. Louis Rams CB 3

Lavonte David, Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB 2

--------------

Oh look.

Two CBs that didn't cost a first and a second to acquire, plus the guy we were targeting with that second round pick we traded away.

Awesome.

Awesome.
It's ROY voting not a statement on their entire careers.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.
