Everyone should have known that with the signing of Carr and drafting of Claiborne.

The toothbrush had to be invented in West Virginia, if it was created anywhere else it would have been called a teethbrush.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Terrence Newman may also be released.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

God forbid anything happens to Claiborne or Carr and we have to see Scandrick lined up on the outside for an extended period of time

Isn't Scandrick better in zone? And isn't that what the Tampa 2 does mainly?
I think Scandrick would be fine if so.

I wish the Cowboys would sign him for a year or two. He would be good insurance. But, the Cowboys just don't have the cap room and Jenkins wants (and can) start for many other teams. I am guessing he goes to the Dolphins or Tampa.

I was thinking the same thing. He provides quality depth, but almost certainly will be unaffordable.
