That sounds right. I haven't heard anything about him since he left the Cowboys. Regardless of whether or not Buehler makes the team, I hope Tynes leaves the Giants and goes to the AFC.

This might be Buehler's last chance in the NFL he needs to win the kicking job if he's even given a chance...

I still don't get the decision to keep him on the team when we had a real kicker, especially since it was the same year they moved the kickoff team up.

I know Tynes had a rough year but I don't think he deserves to be let go, especially for someone like Buehler. I'd be furious if i was a giants fan

I don't think they are letting him go....he's an UFA...and Buehler is insurance in case they can't come to terms. He's gonna look for Weathford $.

Buehler was unreliable from 40 and in when he was with the Cowboys. I can't see him being their Week 1 starter unless things go horribly wrong.

I'll never forget his first interview I heard in Dallas on The Ticket, when he talked all about his Hooters-waitress girlfriend, and how they hadn't had sex for a few days because "she was on the rag."

Yep, classy. And he had the porn 'stache to go with it.

He was never a good kicker in high school. He was average at best in college. And Jerry blew a 5th-round draft pick on him in the worst draft in Cowboys history.

Also, I hated the fact that Jerry & Garrett decided to keep him when it was apparent that Bailey was the better kicker. But we had to keep Buehler as a "valuable weapon" for kickoffs....even though the rule had already been changed to move the ball up for kickoffs.

Yep, Cowboy fans. That's our brain trust at work.
