Without Romo on the team as it's currently constructed you wouldn't even sniff 8-8.
Now that is, of course, with the way the team is currently put together. I know people love to hate on Tony and act like he's the be all end all reason to why the team doesn't win but that simply isn't the case.
They were 8-8 last year and very easily could have been 10-6 or 11-5 with improved O-Line play, and better defensive play (a lot to do with injuries I admit). They lost some games Romo played damn well in that gets blamed on him (the Saints game and first Redskins game both come to mind).
I'm not saying Tony is the greatest player on Earth, or the only reason Dallas manages to win games, but some of those close games, ones we won or lost, the Cowboys wouldn't have even been in the game to win them at the end if not for the play of Romo.
I have no doubt this team would have been 3-13 last season if Romo had been out. I know there are plenty who won't agree and that's fine.
