To be fair, Jerry valuing the positions of WR and TE could just mean the ones we have on the team right now, after all he is paying Miles a boatload of money as a #2 WR, so he must value the positions pretty high. Doesn't mean we will be looking to draft either position.

They ran Austin and Goodwin's 40 together and Goodwin was gaining the advantage late. For whatever that is worth.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

If I was Collin Klein, I'd have worked out as a TE. It might have gotten him drafted.

Special note to Mayock, Harvin ran a 4.39, so he is bigger than Austin but much slower. He is right about them being very much different though.

Tavon Austin is Wes welker with elite speed. He is a first round pick all the way.

 "much slower"
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

And compared to most schools, ND is not really known for cutting corners in the classroom.

....and I know ALL ABOUT Brian Kelly as he was the coach of Grand Valley State where a very close relative works. He is known for cutting corners and if you think for a SECOND that the players at ND don't coast through with laughable majors and classes you are clueless my friend. It's no coincidence Kelly turned them around this quick. One of the FIRST things he did was lower entrance standards for his football players. ND resisted with Weis and Willingham but gave Kelly what he wanted and now they're winning. They've also had some HORRIFIC off the field incidents since he became head coach.
....btw: "Academic All American" doesn't mean diddly if it's as a 'DESIGN MAJOR' in the College of ARts and Letters.....

Yeah, I mean during the combine there's a big difference. I'm not so sure there is on the field though.
I just thought it was funny to say .14 seconds is "much slower" when they are both pretty great times, as you said.

Calm down. Good grief.
He was an Academic All Amercian. That is a fact. I'm not speculating about his classes, though ND has abetter rep than most places in that area.
If you want to make him out to be a serial killer, go for it.
I have no idea what his IQ is.
