TJ McDonald USC S 2nd round pick.
Today's events have changed our focus i feel. McDonald has played under Kiffin and knows his system well. 6'2 219, nice size and is a 4'4 guy, wwich to be expected with his size. I think he is the guy to take with 2nd pick.

Ew God I hope not...
1. Brandon Magee will beat out Ernie Sims for the backup WILL/MO roster spot.
2. Ron Leary will start at right guard over Bernadeau.
3. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams and Gavin Escobar will have more combined TD's than DeMarco Murray, Miles Austin and Jason Witten.
4. Bruce Carter makes the Pro Bowl.
5. The starting OL will be Smith-Livings-Frederick-Leary-Free

Also his 40 time is 5.49 at the combine.
I think 40 time for a safety ia over rated anyways for a position that plays 20 yards off the line already. Need to look at 20 yard shuttle and 3 cone and 10 yard split, than a 40 yard dash for a position who will rarely run 40 yards.

5.49? I hope that is a typo and you meant 4.59. My 89 year old grandma can do a 5.49!!!

Actually, I think there may still be better Safeties available in the 4th round.

McDonald is lucky if hes a top 120 player in this draft. 2nd round isnt even remotely close to an option. If we haven't taken a safety by the 4th I would consider him, but nothing before that.

McDonald in the 2nd would completely ruin this draft for me.

He's badly undervalued by this board. His 3 cone drill (which is more important than 40 time, IMHO) is elite. Football is a game of changing directions, not on 40 yard straight lines. Jarius Byrd ran a 4.60, and he's the best S in the free agent market.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

You want McDonald based on system/ size / 40 time, yet said nothing about what he does best out on the field with the skill-set he has. lol, you just described Taylor Mays & what happened there. I'd rather take Kenny Vaccaro in the 1st if he is there, he has proven he is solid in coverage & is pretty dependable with his ability to tackle, many times putting a lick on the offensive player.
