Default Terrell Sinkfield WR Northern Iowa

James Christensen ‏@NEPatriotsDraft
Terrell Sinkfield (WR, UNI) ran a 4.19 at his pro-day today. I had notes on him from his game against Wisconsin here: http://www.nepatriotsdraft.com/2012/...rn-iowa.html/2

#2 WR Terrell Sinkfield
-Lining up outside.
-Good initial effort on WR screen, but quit on the play.
-WR screen, good vision and burst.
-Fantastic leaping catch, great hands and body control on the sideline.
-Settles into soft part of zone, body catch, makes the first man miss and accelerates for the first down.
-Tips off his routes a bit, quick enough to get away with it at this level.
-Makes the catch in traffic, hangs on after big hit.
-Excellent grab, layed out and snagged the ball with his hands.

Overview: Sinkfield has some talent, speed, and a great catching radius, but he needs to clean up his route-running to succeed at the next level. His screen and hitch game is great, but he tends to round and tip some of his routes.

These pro-days are hilarious, watch Moore at A&M magically run a 4.6.

I feel like they let the agents hold the stop watch.

There is no chance this guy ran that time. It's almost comical. I always look forward to watching all of the 4.4 and 4.5 guys run 4.2's at the pro-day.

I'm anxious to watch Teo slash his 4.8 to a 4.5 or 4.6 at his pro-day.

"Because of his blazing speed on his second attempt, the 6-foot-1 Sinkfield was asked to run it one more time, something none of the other players did Monday. Despite a slight stumble, he still clocked in at 4.41 seconds.

Combined with his first attempt of 4.27 seconds, Sinkfield averaged a 4.33 despite his stumble in his third attempt. But it was his time of 4.19 that created plenty of buzz Monday at the Gophers' practice facility."

It's pretty amazing in the days of Youtube how these guys from really small schools still have highlight films. The only thing I can focus on is how bad the QBs are. This guy's QB couldn't play high level Texas High School. He literally couldn't throw the ball over 25 yards.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

Default Terrell Sinkfield (WR) posts 4.19

Northern Iowa receiver Terrell Sinkfield reportedly ran the 40-yard dash in 4.19 seconds at a pro day held Monday at the University of Minnesota.

The blazing time came in his second attempt at the 40 and was so fast that he was asked to run a third time, something none of the other prospects who participated in the pro day was asked to do, according to FoxSportsNorth.com.

Sinkfield reportedly stumbled on the third attempt but still ran a 4.44.
"I knew it was good when I finished," Sinkfield told the website of his 4.19 time. "I was pretty happy, so I came back. I thought I messed up when they said go again. I'm like, 'Dang, why do I have to run again?' "

Sinkfield reportedly ran 4.27 in his first attempt for an average of 4.3 on the three runs.

"I was trying to shoot for a 4.19. I knew it was good when I finished," Sinkfield told The (St. Paul) Pioneer Press. "The fastest I've done [before Monday] was 4.2. I was running 4.3s in high school."

Add 0.1 to 0.2 to that hand timed 40. It's still fast though.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Yeah not buying it....hes definitely really fast, but 4.19 is just out of the question. Probably more like 4.3-somethin.

Just like those hand-timed 40's where they actually run a 4.4?

Fast is fast. I want to see how fast they run with pads, a helmet, a 250 lb. LB chasing them and a drunken crowd.

Yep.
Pro day 40 times are not valid. But when it's that fast, well, you have to notice.

Ever seen a player run slower at his pro day? Lol
Think about it.

I held my own pro day the other day and ran a 3.8.

Why are these things so disputed? Wouldn't it be REALLY easy to figure it out by running back the video and...I don't know....timing it?
