List players that ought to be on Jerry's radar
I've got one:
DEJI KARIM.
He's got the speed.
He can return kicks.
He can run block.
Can make you miss.
Has got all the tools necessary to be an every down back.
I'd trade a 3rd or a 4th for him...

I think we have to have a couple of FAs. I agree with BP that we need to draft the majority of them but there are some positions that I don't believe we are going to be able to bring rookies into and have them perform. I think Guard is one of those positions. I think that if we cut Free, we probably need to bring in an FA for RT as well.

DE Israel Idonje
LB Kevin Burnett
WR Laurent Robinson
WR Early Doucet
1. Brandon Magee will beat out Ernie Sims for the backup WILL/MO roster spot.
2. Ron Leary will start at right guard over Bernadeau.
3. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams and Gavin Escobar will have more combined TD's than DeMarco Murray, Miles Austin and Jason Witten.
4. Bruce Carter makes the Pro Bowl.
5. The starting OL will be Smith-Livings-Frederick-Leary-Free

I think the draft can be a bigger piece this year, how many positions do we really need to fill that will send us to the big one? How many cheaper parts can you pick up and be okay with? Will we replace Ware right now? Jason Witten? I think where we can pick up and do better doesnt have to cost us an arm and leg just to show the rest of the fans "hey Dallas can spend to".
Where are all the posters from last year that was excited with what the eagles and Skins did? Are we so bad that we think a big pay day to one player is going to get us into the SB?
We were one game away from the playoffs and I feel that situation has been addressed with the new defense.
I personally felt the Oline was coming along and I think things were getting better and I feel a player or two on hte Oline would help, but i dont want the team to over pay today to sacrifice next year.
So far i think the FA is going our way. Let it come to us. Its worked for other teams.
Or do you really believe the Chiefs can solve all their woes in one offseason? Do you honestly feel with the Lions signing, they have cured all wounds? Doubt full.
If you choose to alreayd know the season, check out now and see you next year. For me personally. one offseason, one draft, one new season and ill listen to all the camps, the pre season and every game I can catch.

Think is along my lines of thinking
With our draft position at #18 we might luck and get a legit starting G(Kunz & DeCastro both started last year respectably) at that spot. Tackle is another story IMO.....hence the Winston signing. We still keep Parnell but dump Free and his contract. I believe it is MUCH easier for a Guard prospect to step in, than a Tackle. Plus, I believe, Winston would sign for a respectable cap figure...just my random thoughts.

Danario Alexander for 3rd WR.

My favorite hobby - watching Mustangs fall behind in the rearview mirror of my '01 C5.

I'd almost retire if I was Robinson. 4 concussions last year - could have long-lasting effects on his brain.
