Witten should have a field day down the middle, Hanna too because there's no way he keeps up with him.

Connor is decent. Just Carter came into his own. IMO Connor wasnt a good fit for the 3-4

At least Broaddus admitted that he misevaluated Connor.
Proof that even the experts get it wrong from time to time.
"It's little bit like the description of pornography from years back. It's hard to define it. But you know what it is at the end of it. It's hard to define it. I think you know who is more physical. Often times you see that in the fourth quarter. A lot of time the team on the other side feels it. We pride ourselves on being a physical football team. It's important to us. It's an important time of the year to lay that foundation." - Coach Garrett

Good news they are signing mediocre (at best) players.

He wasn't as bad as his reputation here would suggest. Solid player when he could get there in time. I probably a really good guy in the locker room. Just not quite gifted enough physically to stick with the same team long-term.
Anybody know why the Giants let Blackburn walk? Just couldn't make the money work?
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Well, that was sort of the problem, wasn't it?

he might play better for the giants, just because he was a COwboy didnt mean he was happy. Who knows. I wish him luck and didnt think he sucked as bad as people thought because if he plays better, well than you know. Frankily i was okay with his signing and if another team picked him up, they know why they did,

He doesn't really have a role in a Tampa 2 because he doesn't have the coverage ability to play the Mike and is a total misfit as an OLB in any scheme.
He is an okay run stuffing LB but those guys are quickly becoming dinosaurs as all the receiving RBs and TEs make mincemeat of them in the passing game nowadays on a routine basis anytime they can get the matchup. With all the spread offenses out there now they can routinely scheme to get such a matchup and carve up a defense.
He seems like a good guy and played hard when in the lineup so I have no beefs with the player. He just doesn't fit what we do anymore.

Who knows why he didnt play his best here, but it wasnt his best and maybe the Giants will get more out of him.

Let's hope either McSurdy or Lemon have enough speed (or someone in the draft) and can fill that backup MLB role.
