I had sunday ticket a few years ago and only paid $50 bucks up front for it...

I never used it anyway because I get all the Cowboys games. I have heard they changed it alot and that it is not all that it is cracked up to be anymore.

I once heard of a trick a few years ago you could do to "fool" the company into giving you local channels from Dallas if you lived elsewhere, anyone else familiar with this technique?

Last seaosn was my first year with DirecTV and Sunday Ticket. Living in Boston, I usually can't watch our Cowboys. So to get it in my living room is GREAT for me. Otherwise in a bar I have to battle with noise, finding a decent seat, and spending more money than the $15/game Sunday Ticket costs.

I may have ya beat. Living in S GA you get the Falcons, Bucs, and Jags forced down your throat every weekend

I may have to NOT get the ticket this year if the prices are going to be like that. No more escaping to the garage to work on the car, drink beer, and watch the ticket. Guess I'll be listening in on NFL Radio

Find a neighbor that have Directv that loves football and share the cost of NFL ticket. Exchange the ID card out of your receivers and presto! Two family get NFL Sunday, each for $100!

hahaha! I don't do that but "not that there's anything wrong with it"

When I lived in Calif I had sunday ticket every year. It was either that or watch the 9ers and Raiders play every Sunday. OR spend $20-$25 at the pizza place with the wife and kids. Now that I am in Oklahoma I get all the Cowboys games :-)

Yes, I remember people posting about it last season. They lived in Houston.

I always keep last year's bill to see if I'm getting ripped off the next year. Sometimes I can't remember how much money I spend on sports entertainment. It's like a drug man. I'll pay whatever ... as long as its good stuff

I'm with you...they can charge a hell of a lot more for the NFL package and I'll pay it. I can't imagine what it would be like to have to watch the Jets and Giants every weekend.

I've had Sunday Ticket for about seven years now, and to me, it's well worth $219. Not only do I get to watch every Cowboys game, I can switch between the other games when the Cowboys are not playing, or I can tape different games on different TVs. Other than the overlap problem with the games on local channels, I don't have a single complaint about all of the years I've had Sunday Ticket. The cable companies couldn't pay me enough to drop DirecTV and go without Sunday Ticket.

I hope to God they never actually try to find out how much I'm willing to pay for the NFL package! I'd have to take out a second mortgage.

Going to school in Eagles country and living now in Skins country... I'd die without Sunday Ticket!

When September hits, everyone I know knows not to call me on Sunday during game time...

I remember some of the things I used to do as a kid to try to get Cowboy games on the radio...especially if they were playing in Philly...close enough to sometimes get the games with wires, hangers, strategically connected to my radio...

So that DTV package is gonna be in my house regardless of price.
RIP Santiago

I have never found any on the web before. Where at?

I had the Ticket last year and I found myself exhausted from channel switching, trying to keep up with so many games, that I ended up not really enjoying my day. I like to study a game pretty closely as it ebbs and flows. The whole deal is way more appealing theoretically than it is in practice for me-- no matter the cost.
