Sunday Ticket price increasing
yet again...I didnt hear the whole report on 680 The Fan here in Atlanta, but they were saying the new price was going to be $320...I dont know if that included the $100 charge for viewing in HDTV or if that was w/o the $100...
anyone have the details?

The $160 for last year was bad enough. That just makes my decision to move back to cable a no brainer.

ok, I was really considering getting the Sunday Ticket, but that just blew me out of the water. I'm waaaaay too cheap for that. It's cheaper for me to track it on the web.

If you go to the official website, it lists the price as $239 a year.
Get the 2005 season of NFL SUNDAY TICKET™ for 4 payments of $54.75 (available to existing DIRECTV customers only). That's a $20 savings off the regular-season price.

Actually you can thank money grubber Paul Tagliabue. DirectTV is just a vendor.
First he takes Monday Night Football off of network TV and ruins a tradition and now this garbage.
The league is all about money, brothers.

I know it sounds like alot of money but its $13.69 a week What the hell can you do for $14 a week? Also that comes out to a $1 per game. $13 for 13 games not bad if you break down the numbers. Also if you are a Cowboy or football fan it is worth it unless you like to watch regional coverage on Fox every week. My coverage the Vikings-you can only watch so much purple and gold

Actually, it is roughly $15 a game. I don't care about anything but Cowboy games. The honor of perhaps getting the Browns/Bengals game in a bye week is not that impressive to me.
That $15 gets you hot wings and a couple of beers at my local pub.

$14 is a qtr tank of gas depending on what you drive. For me, it's a little under half a tank.
But I like how you spun those $$s...
