Default JP Losman interview (Bledsoe mentioned)

I got this synopsis from another site... It's part of an interview JP Losman did today with ESPN Radio i think... he said a few ok things but also seemed to take a few jabs at Drew.....

Quote:

on his team..
He said the Defense is still unbelievable, and the ST is always still ready to go... That this team is on the verge of greatness and the only thing holding them back the last two years was the offense. They had the weapons to do it.. but it takes a QB to take them to the endzone and do what he can to get them there... If they are 3rd and 6 or 3rd and 8, its up to the QB to hit the hot read or make the play to get them that first down.. and that hasnt happened in a while..(sounds like he mocks Drew without saying his name)..

Though I also forgot that he talked about playing under Drew..
He said that he was a great guy and called him when he was drafted, and answered all his questions on the practice field.. but he plays a different game than JP. He said he learned Drews way of the game, but its not exactly how he will play his.

I think that last bit might explain a LOT of why Drew is so mad..... sounds like teh rep of being mr. cocky is very true. What I get is that Drew WAS very good to JP from the start... tried to teach him a few things but JP doesn't think he needs to listen to anyone. I'd be pissed too. I'm 99% sure Drew tried to help this guy and he was what his rep is... arrogant. We also got a taste of that from that guy who golfed with Ramsey.

He has always been known as arrogant... he has the tools... but he needs to adjust his attitude to this level...

In some of Danny White's earlier posts (he played golf with Ramsey)... he said Ramsey said the same thing... the kid has tools but a major ego...

I'm sure it's true. I'm sure it's hard not to have an ego though being a starter in the NFL at QB when your 22 or whatever he is. You guys know about stars in HS and college, he's been the **** for the last 8 years of his life.

To be fair... Jim Kelly did pretty good even with his massive ego.... at least until the Super Bowl rolled around.

Losman is NO Kelly at this point... plus the fact Kelly had a few years in the USFL under his belt...

I can't say whether or not the Losman will be a player... best of luck to him... but he isn't even in the same COUNTRY as Kelly at this point...

I never meant to imply that he was... I'm just trying to say that having a massive ego like Rob Johnson doesn't automatically mean you will be a problem... as evidenced by Kelly. Jim Kelly was also a fairly SMART guy... I'm not sure Losman is....

Wasn't JP the one who went to a private Manning workout in N.O. and made an *** out of himself? I think he wasn't invited and he just showed up and some how he convinced them to let him work out by saying whats it going to hurt it'll only take 30 min. and after they agreed he's stretching while Eli is throwing and he's sitting there making comments that he thinks he's better than Eli.. Eli here's him and kinda looks over his shoulder at him when Eli finishes JP told him good job and Eli just walked past and said yeah. I think it was on NFL Network leading up to the draft last year when the camera's were following him around. It pissed Eli off and I don't think they really like each other because that...If I'm right this time.....

Nor am I... now... Tulane is a good academic school... but Ramsey indicating his ego (Losman) was a bit much kinda made me take note as he would know...

Heck... I have no malice towards the Bills... I really liked them alot til they went with the current high school uni's... I was a big Joe Cribbs fan and Joe Furgeson fan back in the day (NEVER over the Cowboys of course)...

Wow

I met Jim Kelly in the Phoenix Airport right after they lost SB XXVI to the Skins and I agree with you about his ego.

There's no comparison in talent level though. They shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence unless it is a roster of Buffalo QBs. Kelly is head and shoulders better.

Wasn't Jim Kelly the guy who threw down with a reporter who said something bad about him on TV? Or was it the other way around? I guess it was the other way around, I think it was Jim Harbaugh. You gotta wonder what caused them to go at it.

Ryan Leaf was the only one I remember for that.

You are thinking of Jim Everrett and Jim Rhome... and Rhome ran like a sissy off the set...
