Default Early NFC/AFC Champ Predictions

we've gotten a feel for which direction teams are moving in, and i was curious about who you guys (gals too...) think will appear in the "tournament" finals.
i predict Pittsburgh and San Diego for the AFC - Minnesota and Carolina for the NFC.
for random notes, i think IF we win the East we have a 50-50 chance of running the table and bringing home the VL trophy... i believe the loss of OC and DC from the Pats will set them back and they will miss the playoffs.

as long as they have belechick(sp), Brady, Dillon, and that Defense, they won't be half bad. I don't think they win the AFC East this season, but they will probably be a wild card team. I do agree that the loss of Vrabel and their coordinators is big, but I do think they will make the playoffs.

As blasphemous as this sounds... the Cowboys don't have a real chance at being a Super Bowl contender this year.

Their inexperience will get the better of them.

As for my predictions:

AFC - Patriots
NFC - Lions

dallas vs alanta

indy vs Pitt

as for your prediction the Vikings just dont have a team togther right now, there tryig to change ther offense and trying to play D it takes more than just one offseason to go the NFC championship.

And San Diego stil to me hasnt proven anything to me, because they can get a fluke QB doesnt mean they are ready to go to the championship round, they have something to prove to me

AFC Jets and Colts

It's funny you say we can't do it b/c of inexperience (not that I disagree with you), then you pick the Lions in the NFC with a no playoff experience QB, top WRs with 3 or less years of experience and a sophmore at RB.

People, Dallas is NOT even ready to compete for the division yet, let alone the conference.

Are these Madden '06 predictions or what? Much too early to make the kind of predictions you guys are laying out.

Good Hunting ...or Tally-Ho! (Hunt cry "the prey has been sighted") " Tallio, Hoix, Hark, Forward,"
which is a corruption of the French hunter's call. Four hundred years ago the French hunter encouraged his dogs with the musical cry of "Thia-hilaud a qui forheur!" sometimes printed "Tya-hillaut a qui forheur!" From this the English manufactured "Tallio, hoix, hark, forward."

LOL the Cowboys' inexperience will get the better of them, but the Lions will win the NFC. Am I the only one confused !?

I like the Colts and Raiders to battle it out in the AFC, and the Cowboys and Eagles in the NFC Championship game.

How about a Raiders-Cowboys Superbowl?

seriously. You guys are predicting, a team that is coming off a 6-10, but not because say, Michael Vick was our QB and lost for the entire 6-10 season, but returning with a new defensive scheme, alot of rookies expected to start and contribute right away, and a new QB to go the super bowl.

People, let's put it this way, 2007 might be the year we are in the Super Bowl, but at this point, lets beat Philly 1st, then talk Super Bowl. We MAY win the division, but at this point, besides Owens making a fuss in Philly, that team is almost the same one that came within 3 points of a SB title.

Lions will be good, but I think they should, just as us, worry about getting to the playoffs before the Super Bowl. Both teams have been entirely rebuilt, and are going to advance 1 step at a time.

Oh and how I would love to be wrong on this one.

I didn't get that either.....not even Roy and Mike Williams will save them from Joey "Rag-Arm " Harrington.
