The Most Dangerous Team in the NFC-East
Uncertain whether this post belongs here or in the NFL Zone (no problem if you need to make the transfer), but this one could make some ears bleed.
There's alway one team that makes it difficult to beat -- the albatross, the achilles heel, the team that always plays you harder than most. The team may not be a dynasty, but they play solid football in 4-quarters. Having the big game slip from their fingers twice just makes them harder to defeat -- but if you do, they'll be back next time even more determined.
That team has not won the big show before, they don't boast to media, and there's no out-of-reach standard to meet -- but they'll stop other teams in their division from getting! They've had a sweet taste of an NFC Championship but everyone seems to think they can't take the next step -- so they have something to prove.
This franchise have all of the ingredients, but everyone believes they "choke," for the biggest game of all -- they are cursed or hexed, and destined to have an empty trophy case. These are hungry players that want to win; not so much for the money, but for the true champions that have always laid dormant up to the last five years.
This team will find a way to win even when their playmakers are injured. Healthy, -- they'll bring it to you one game at a time!
I'd be very afraid to play a team that dangerous -- except ...well, you know the rest!
Good Hunting ...or Tally-Ho! ( Hunt cry "the prey has been sighted") " Tallio, Hoix, Hark, Forward,"
which is a corruption of the French hunter's call. Four hundred years ago the French hunter encouraged his dogs with the musical cry of "Thia-hilaud a qui forheur!" sometimes printed "Tya-hillaut a qui forheur!" From this the English manufactured "Tallio, hoix, hark, forward."

very nice opinon of yours, i could write similar reasons why the Cowboys are a very dangerous team in the NFC East as well
We know the eagles are probably the most dangerous team in the NFC East they have won the division the last three or four years, but things may change this year...
as much as i hate to say it the Giants or redskins may even win the division
I feel that this may be the year the Eagles begin to take a downward turn i think they will go 3-3 in the NFC east and will end up 8-8 just my prediction based on their rough off-season.

I don't know, I think the Cowboz became complacent somewhere along the road back down the Hill. Don't Misunderstand me, I actually used to root for the Cowboz to win whenever they weren't playing the Eagles. But things became sloppy for you guys after Deion, Irving, Nate, and Qb problems started to settle in with the concussions, etc., etc.
We've still got a mission, but we're not looking past the NFC-East ...at least not yet.

I dont think the Giants or Skins will challenge this year. Thinking the Eagles will probably win the division, with the cowboys close behind, think the Boys might take one of the regular season games from you. Then we'll see what happens in the playoffs.

No doubt eagles are still the team to beat in the NFC and they get to carry that title until someone else proves themselfs to be better.

Judging from this offseason, I would not characterize the 'Boys as being in "complacent" mode. It took Bill a couple of bumpy seasons to determine exactly what he had in the cupboard. Now he and Jerry have gone and restocked that sumbeeyoch!

Everyone knows the Eagles are the team to beat in the NFC east, but all these things you speak of can apply to any team.......teams that have a legacy, teams that have a rich past. The Eagles don't play for money? Don't you guys have 2 real starters holding out right now? Lets not be homerish about this, you are on a rival site for sake...

I'm with you on this. Happy though I am about the off season, they are still the hurdle.

Gotta love the Eagles' fans they seem very happy to be the Bills of the millennium.
The Cowboy nation was ready to string Danny White up for not winning the big one. 3 years at bride's maid and 1 as maid of honor would cause mass suicide in Cowboy country, but hey you guys won a championship 45 years ago so enjoy.

Its all cyclical, at least now that the Cards are out of the NFC East.
The Cowboys, Giants and Skins have all had a time of domination and won Super Bowls.
So this is the tail end of the Eagles time, but they are the only ones who didn't come out of it with a Super Bowl.
Looks like you picked a loser their Talon. hey, but at least you enjoy them, right ?
Be excellent to each other....

That's fair Hoov.

To be the man you got to beat the man...
And right now the eagles are the "Man".
I hate the idea of it but they have our number and until we can beat them more then once in a few years they are still the most dangerous team in the NFC East and possibly the NFC.
