Hunter, simply put, may not want to be shuffled around to a free safety. You bash him for not being a team player and him being selfish because he doesn't do something he doesn't want to do.
How many times have you not want to have done something? You're all hypocrites to do this to him. Keep in mind when it's happened to you, you were probably kids and given the old "Do it or your grounded" treatment. That's an ultimadeum, not freedom to choose.

What are you talking about, "Do it or you're grounded"
Get real, you do what the coaches tell you to do.
I have seen TE's get moved to tackle.
Do you think they WANTED to go from catching passes and running the ball to fighting DL & LB'ers every play ?
No, they did it because it helped the team.
I have seen FB's get moved to guard.
They did it not because they wanted to, but because it helped the team.
I had been THE running back in my class through Pop Warner, Jr High, Freshman ball, JV and varsity as a soph.
We got a new coach when I was a Jr that ran the stick-I.
He needed someone he could depend on to be the upback, the blocking back, the "guard in the backfield" so to speak.
Guess what, he picked me.
I didn't like it.
I only ran 4-5 times a game after that, and caught 3-4 passes, where, like I said before, I had always been THE running back and had always carried 20 + times a game.
Even though I didn't like it, I did it both my Jr & Sr. year, because that's where the coach decided the team needed me.
He did let me return punts & kickoffs, but I wanted to be the tailback.
My point is, if Parcells asked Hunter to try FS, he should do it, ... end of discussion.
