No, they don't choke. All QB's get the dry heaves in the 4th quarter of the SB.

eagles are and have been the team to beat for 4 years, i think they will still be a challenge for us to beat out for the divison, IF we are going to win the division it will be by 1 game.
yes the eagles lost TO and it seems the offense relied on him and Mcnabb to "do it all" but they will still be a challenge without him because there defense is so good and there offense will still function once mcnabb finds a new reciever who can CATCH the ball (westbrook doesnt count).

There's alway one team that makes it difficult to beat -- the albatross, the achilles heel, the team that always plays you harder than most. The team may not be a dynasty, but they play solid football in 4-quarters. Having the big game slip from their fingers twice just makes them harder to defeat -- but if you do, they'll be back next time even more determined.
That team has not won the big show before, they don't boast to media, and there's no out-of-reach standard to meet -- but they'll stop other teams in their division from getting! They've had a sweet taste of an NFC Championship but everyone seems to think they can't take the next step -- so they have something to prove.

These are hungry players that want to win; not so much for the money, but for the true champions that have always laid dormant up to the last five years.
This team will find a way to win even when their playmakers are injured. Healthy, -- they'll bring it to you one game at a time!
I'd be very afraid to play a team that dangerous -- except ...well, you know the rest!

Gee, you sound JUST like Buffalo Bills' fans, back in the early-mid 90s... LOL...

Talon nice to support your team. The Eagles are still the team to beat, no argument here. The Cowboys definately have some work to take care of. In the end they will be celebrating their sixth, and Bednarick will still be a happy man, being the last Eagle to celebrate at the end of the season.

SSsssshhhh! I respect you for being in touch with your femanine side, but crying is not an option -- at least for most Eagle fans I know. Take
Superbowl XXXIX for example. We were only 3 points away from winning it all!!
A field goal away from stopping all of this talk about "the next level," a field goal away from "empty SB trophy case!."
Most Eagle fans were very disappointed. But think about it -- it's not a life changing situation. When you place pressure and angst on yourself out like you're describing, your brain sends chemicals that are not healthy for your system -- same concept in reverse when you experience elation or a euphoric feeling of joy and happiness.
That's why I have a backup team to root for. But you really sound like a dedicated fan to me. I can understand what you're saying. Good hunting this year --
Good Hunting ...or Tally-Ho! ( Hunt cry "the prey has been sighted") " Tallio, Hoix, Hark, Forward,"
which is a corruption of the French hunter's call. Four hundred years ago the French hunter encouraged his dogs with the musical cry of "Thia-hilaud a qui forheur!" sometimes printed "Tya-hillaut a qui forheur!" From this the English manufactured "Tallio, hoix, hark, forward."

Perhaps. We'd like to think we have a QB who hyped up too much for the biggest game in Eagles history ( did he buy that... )

I hear you bobbie-B, but Eagle fans see it just a tad bit differently. You see, from the beginning, Coach Reid used a team concept. While every team has leaders that set the pace, the Eagles have play-makers on both sides of the ball. Listen, no one is giving credit to the other Dynasty that we almost beat.
NE is No off the wall team. We'll meet them again and this time we'll rely on more play-makers to have a different result.
But I do honestly undertand what you're saying.

Okay Talon...lol...I love this statement you made..
"That's why I have a backup team to root for. "
I see now that your just setting yourself up to become a Cowboys fan, now that the Eagles are on a decline. Great, another band wagon fan. So I'll say no thanks, we don't need ya.
Be excellent to each other....

Nice recruitnment attemt Jarv Like I said many times before. Unlike some (not all) tunnel vision fans here, I can say I Like to root for any team that I wish. But no matter what happens 5 or 10 years down the road, I'll always be an Eagles fan!
