I hear ya, ... for a thread that started out with, "Do you think Parcells is under pressure to win ?", .. a simple yes or no would have sufficed.

I aspire to see simple answers here, but I don't expect to see them.

Well, I guess I missed that one, but what about the offensive line(Jacob Rogers over Kelly Butler(RT) and Bert Berry. Berry's stats has been steadily increasing every year for some time now as did Chike Okeafor. Either of those DE would have helped our pass rush immensely. I got their numbers off of NFL.COM. Surely they have access to better sources than I have. Adalius Thomas. He is 3-4 pass rushing LB who was a 6th round draft pick. He was a restricted free agent in 2003 and only would have cost us 6th pick, instead we took Kenyon Coleman from the Raiders for a 6th round pick. Thomas was a proven commodity. We also took Al Singleton, a guy who none of us had heard of before. It's not just one or two mistakes, it's bunches. My Cowboys roster prior to the 2005 season would consist of Kevin Williams at RDT and either Ekuban/Okeafor at RDE and Adalius Thomas at LOLB along with Rashean Mathis at LCB and Mario Edwards/Shawntae Spencer at RCB. This would have drastically changed our needs for this current off season(reduced). I feel we should have been using this off season to complete the process of catching up to the Eagles and competing for a title. Where are we now????

There are no simple answers for a state of address. Why do you think press conferences are so long.

Rogers is still young so there is no telling if he will become a good or bad player for the Cowboys, as for Singleton I think most of us around here knew who he was before he signed with Dallas. Personally I think Dallas is moving in the right direction and have made some solid improvements over the last couple of years. I just think like many you have no patients and that is what it takes when trying to rebuild a team, it does not happen over night.

So when the players take the field do they expect or aspire to win? And to aspire do they have to inhale first?

Not sure what a state of address is, but this was not a press conference.

It was a simple yes or no question.
