Default Poll How many draftees are starters in 2 years?

From this great draft class of Ware, Spears, Burnett, Barber, Canty, BerryO, Pettiti, and Ratlif. How many are starters in 2 years?

I say Ware, Spears, Burnett and Canty are all starters. As long as well have Julius then Barber won't be a starter. The others will be role players with occassional starts, but not full time.

I agree with you. I think Pettiti could start, and Ratliff has been impressive so far. I think 4 is a good logical guess. If JJ stays injury prone, he could pave the way for Barber. I think Barber is a capable starter, but JJ is better when healthy.

As a side note, I hope JJ has really worked on catching the ball out of the backfield. He can be deadly in the open.

All seven CAN be starter, now will they, maybe 4 or 5 of them, but all seven have the potential to be starters, and on another team most likley would be in two years.

I'm saying five also. Ware, Spears, Canty, Burnett and either Pettiti or Ratlif. Barry-o could sneak in their to as a FS if he becomes a good cover guy. Otherwise I see him as RW's backup.

You know, after two years we will have turnover in the WR ranks. Onw of the UDFAs could make it as a third or better WR by then if we luck out. Not probable, but possible.

I think Pettiti will be a starter but not in two years; he may even move on to another team before starting because Flo will be around for awhile and Vollers has the inside track on the RT position with the extra size he has put on and his experience.

I guess I don't know where Canty starts at... or should I say starts for.

Pettiti? Could be like you say. But at this point I don't care as long as someone steps up at that position. Jack if it were you I'd be fine with it!

It had better be 3 or 4 this year or we are in deep doo-doo on defense. They not only need to start but play well.

AJM, stop trolling. Dude, we can see who voted what, ZERO?

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

You have 8 players listed and 7 available votes. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss

“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.
